When I begin conceptualizing a new project, I envision the piece as an extension of the environment in which it will reside. I design to match personal style, while incorporating the materials and approaches that have come to define my work. I build with emotion and passion, and consider a product finished only when I’m satisfied that I’ve done the best job I can do.
If you have an idea for a custom, hand-built piece of furniture, I would love to help bring your vision to life. Give me a call, or shoot me an email. I look forward to meeting you!
I’m Chad, and I’ve been creating personalized, handmade furniture for six years.
What started as a passion project experimenting and teaching myself to build in my garage has grown into a custom woodworking business I’m very proud of. To this day, I put the same amount of attention and care into every piece of furniture I create; and nothing pleases me more than delivering a finished piece to its new owner, knowing they will treasure it for life.
I believe strongly in the use of natural materials. My mother, a horticulturist, brought me up with my hands in the dirt, developing an appreciation of the natural world and all the abundance it can provide. As a teenager, I started working in construction for a contractor specializing in sustainable living—first as laborer, then as a designer—and learned how different natural materials can attest for long-lasting structural integrity. In my adult life, I’ve been fortunate to live and travel throughout the world, constantly being exposed to and learning about design across different cultures.
